Camera Operation

Photography in motion. The synchronous nature of photography and cinema is something I have experienced over the years. To have a camera that can do both almost simultaneously is a dream come true. I am able to affordably get shots that could, with some help in post, be made to look production quality. With the flick of a switch I can also capture high quality stills of the on set production, set up and shoot HDRs or timelaps photography.

Camera rig design and construction      

Another quality that I bring to my shoots is design and construction of low cost production equipment such as a camera crane or “jib arm”. Need a steady cam rig? I’ll build it to look as good on camera as the pro rigs for a fraction of the cost.

Editing and color grading

In postproduction, editing is one of my favorite things. Finding the pacing for a scene along with shot choices makes the story come to life.
A lot of help comes from the sound and music to lead emotion. I own an h4n to record on set as well as for ambient and folly.
Finding the right color through grading to give a shot that extra feel is another important aspect.
